Black Glutinous Rice Porridge recipe


    8 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 2/3 cups water
  • 1 pandan leaf
  • 3/4 cup black glutinous rice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 cups coconut milk

    Instructions:

  • In a saucepan bring water and pandan leaf to a boil.
  • Add rice and stir.
  • Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Remove pandan leaf and stir in brown sugar and white sugar.
  • Continue to cook for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the coconut milk and remove from heat.
