Ingredients:
2 cups water1 ounce finely chopped lean ham2 cups fresh or frozen butterbeans or lima beans1/4 teaspoon salt1/8 teaspoon pepper
Instructions:
BRING2 cups water and ham to a boil in a saucepan; boil 5 to 10 minutes.Add butterbeans, salt, and pepper; return to a boil.COVER, reduce heat, and simmer 45 minutes or until tender.
