Chicken Stew 'Fricot' recipe |

Ingredients:
1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces5 carrots, chopped6 potatoes, cubed1 onion, chopped1 tablespoon butter salt to taste ground black pepper to taste2 teaspoons dried savory
Instructions:
Melt butter in cooking pot, brown chicken with chopped onions.Add water to cover.Simmer for 30 minutes.Add carrots and potatoes.Simmer some more until vegetables are cooked.Salt and pepper to taste.
