Chococonut Chip Cookies recipe


    6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups flaked coconut

    Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and coconut.
  • Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
