Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking powder1/4 teaspoon baking soda1 cup shortening1/4 teaspoon salt1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar2 eggs2 tablespoons milk1 teaspoon vanilla extract1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.In large bowl, cream shortening, eggs and brown sugar. Add in milk and vanilla extract and mix well. Gradually add in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well blended.Fold in chocolate chips and stir until chips are evenly distributed in dough. Spread dough in pan and bake 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool before cutting into bars.
