Chocolate Oatmeal Drop Cookies recipe |

Ingredients:
1/2 cup margarine1/2 cup shortening1/2 cup brown sugar1 egg1/4 cup water1 (18.25 ounce) package German chocolate cake mix2 cups quick-cooking oats1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).Grease cookie sheets.In a large bowl, cream together the margarine, shortening and brown sugar until light and fluffy.Stir in the egg and water.Beat in cake mix until well blended, then stir in the oats and chocolate chips.Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
