Connoisseur's Casserole recipe |

Ingredients:
1 (11 ounce) can white corn, drained1 (15 ounce) can green beans, drained1/2 cup chopped celery1/2 cup chopped onion1 (2 ounce) jar chopped pimento peppers1/2 cup sour cream1/2 cup shredded Colby cheese1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon pepper4 tablespoons butter1/2 cup slivered almonds1 cup crushed buttery round crackers
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).In a medium bowl, mix white corn, green beans, celery, onion, pimento peppers, sour cream, Colby cheese, cream of celery soup, salt, and pepper.Transfer to a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, and stir in slivered almonds and crushed crackers.Sprinkle over the casserole.Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until bubbly and lightly browned.
