Ingredients:
2 cups cottage cheese3/4 cup white sugar1/4 teaspoon salt2 egg yolks1 (3 ounce) package egg custard mix2 teaspoons vanilla extract3/4 cup milk1/4 teaspoon lemon juice3 tablespoons butter, melted2 egg whites, stiffly beaten1 (9 inch) pie shell
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).Blend together the cottage cheese, sugar, salt and egg yolks.Beat in the custard mix, vanilla, milk, lemon and butter or margarine.Fold in the egg whites.Pour the mixture into the pastry shell and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.Let cool and serve.
