Food For The Gods I recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt

    Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Separate the eggs and beat the egg yolks until light and lemon colored.
  • Slowly add the sugar to the beaten egg yolks, mixing constantly.
  • Add The dates, nuts, graham cracker crumbs and salt.
  • Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold the egg whites into the batter.
  • Pour the batter into an ungreased loaf pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes.
