Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil1 pound cubed lean pork meat 3 cups shredded cabbage4 medium potatoes - peeled and cubed1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped2 cups broccoli florets12 Brussels sprouts3 green onions, chopped4 leeks, chopped3 cloves garlic, minced1/4 teaspoon dried thyme1/2 teaspoon dried basil1/2 teaspoon dried oregano1/2 cup red wine2 quarts watersalt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Heat oil in a large soup pot over medium-high heat.Add cubed pork, and fry until browned on all sides.Add cabbage, potatoes, green pepper, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, green onions, leeks and garlic.Season with thyme, basil and oregano.Pour in the red wine and water.Cover, and simmer over low heat for 2 hours, until everything is tender.Season to taste with salt and pepper before serving.
