Herbed Green Bean Casserole recipe


    8 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 (14 ounce) cans green beans, drained
  • 3/4 cup dried breadcrumbs, divided
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup CRISCO® Oil

    Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Drain the beans and place in a bowl.
  • Mix all of the dry ingredients and toss together.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix the dry ingredients and the CRISCO® Oil into the green beans, reserving 2 Tablespoons of crumb mixture for the top.
  • Place in an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with the reserved crumb mixture.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes or until the top is golden and crispy.
