Irish Cream Macadamia Nut Pie recipe

Ingredients:

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup Irish cream liqueur
  • 1 1/3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups macadamia nuts
  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie

    Instructions:

  • Cream together eggs, salt, sugar, and butter or margarine.
  • Blend in corn syrup and liqueur.
  • Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Pour filling into pie shell.
  • Bake in a preheated 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) oven for 1 1/2 hours, or until browned.
  • Cool.
