Italian Stewed Tomatoes recipe |

Ingredients:
24 large tomatoes - peeled, seeded and chopped1 cup chopped celery1/2 cup chopped onion1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper2 teaspoons dried basil1 tablespoon white sugar
Instructions:
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine tomatoes, celery, onion, bell pepper, basil and sugar. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
