Lawry's Southwestern Chicken Salad recipe


    4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 (1.27 ounce) packet Lawry's® Fajitas Spices & Seasonings
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Lawry's® Garlic Powder With Parsley
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 6 cups torn lettuce
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 large tomato, cut into wedges
  • 1 avocado, thinly sliced
  • Wish-Bone® Ranch Dressing

    Instructions:

  • In small bowl, mix together Fajitas Spices & Seasonings, oil, lime juice and Garlic Powder With Parsley.
  • Place chicken in large Ziploc® bag.
  • Pour on fajitas-marinade mixture; seal bag and toss to coat chicken.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes to overnight.
  • Remove chicken from bag; discarding marinade.
  • Grill or broil chicken 10 to 15 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
  • Let cool slightly, slice thinly or cut into cubes.
  • To arrange salads, place chicken on beds of lettuce.
  • Top each with equal portions of onion, tomato and avocado.
  • Drizzle with ranch-style dressing.
