Marianna's Marinated Pasta recipe |

Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) package dry fettuccini noodles2 tablespoons olive oil2 teaspoons butter1 lemon, juiced2 cloves garlic, chopped2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil, divided1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley1 tablespoon salt1 1/2 tablespoons black pepper
Instructions:
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.Add pasta, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente.Drain, reserving 2 cups of water.Bring the 2 cups reserved pasta water to a boil.Stir in olive oil, butter, 1/2 the lemon juice and the garlic.season with 1 tablespoon basil, parsley, salt and pepper.Boil 1 minute.In a large bowl, combine pasta with sauce.Toss with remaining lemon juice and basil.Cover, and refrigerate 5 hours or overnight.
