Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) package dried navy beans6 cups water1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes1 onion, chopped2 stalks celery, chopped1 clove garlic, minced1/2 pound chopped ham1 cube chicken bouillon2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce1 tablespoon dried parsley2 teaspoons garlic powder1 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper1 bay leaf3 cups water
Instructions:
Combine beans, water, vegetables, ham, and seasonings in a stock pot; bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover, and simmer for two hours.Add an additional two to four cups water. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for an additional two hours. Discard bay leaf.
