Ingredients:
2 slices bacon1 pound frozen okra, thawed and sliced1 small onion, chopped1/2 green bell pepper, chopped2 celery, chopped1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet.Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown.Drain, crumble and set aside.Remove bacon from pan and saute okra, onion, pepper and celery until tender. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper and cook until well blended.Garnish with crumbled bacon, if desired.
