Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar1 cup butter4 eggs, separated1 cup chopped pecans1 cup golden raisins1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg1/4 teaspoon ground cloves1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
Instructions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Mix in egg yolks, and then the spices. Fold in the fruit and nuts.In another bowl, beat egg whites until firm. Fold into fruit and nut mixture. Divide into two pie shells.Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes.
