Peanut Butter Pie XIII recipe |

Ingredients:
1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked3 egg yolks, beaten1 pinch salt2 1/2 cups milk3/4 cup white sugar1/4 cup all-purpose flour1 teaspoon vanilla extract1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions:
In a medium saucepan whisk together egg yolks, salt, and milk.Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until warm.In a small bowl combine sugar and flour.Mix well and gradually whisk into milk mixture.Continue to stir mixture constantly until thickened.Remove from heat.Add vanilla extract and peanut butter to milk mixture.Stir until smooth.Pour mixture into baked pastry shell.Chill before serving.Top with whipped cream if desired.
