Pie Crust II recipe


    4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 pound lard, chilled and cut into small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

    Instructions:

  • In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
  • Cut in lard until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Stir in lemon-lime soda until mixture forms a ball.
  • Divide dough in quarters and shape into balls.
  • Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
