Pork Chop Casserole I recipe


    6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 (1 ounce) packages dry onion soup mix
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 cups instant rice
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 (3/4 inch) thick pork chops

    Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a medium size bowl, mix dry onion soup mix and water until dissolved.
  • Pour mixture into a 10x15 baking dish.
  • Add rice and mushrooms and mix to distribute well.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add pork chops in a single layer on mixture.
  • Push pork chops down into mixture and make sure they are covered with it.
  • Cover baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
