Pork Chop Casserole I recipe |

Ingredients:
2 (1 ounce) packages dry onion soup mix3 cups water2 cups instant rice1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained salt and pepper to taste6 (3/4 inch) thick pork chops
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).In a medium size bowl, mix dry onion soup mix and water until dissolved.Pour mixture into a 10x15 baking dish.Add rice and mushrooms and mix to distribute well.Salt and pepper to taste.Add pork chops in a single layer on mixture.Push pork chops down into mixture and make sure they are covered with it.Cover baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
