Ingredients:
1/4 cup vegetable oil4 onions, chopped4 cloves garlic, minced1 pound medium shrimp - peeled and deveined1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric1/2 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon ground black pepper3 tablespoons tomato paste1/3 cup water
Instructions:
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions; cook and stir until soft. Stir in garlic, and cook for 2 to 3 minutesAdd shrimps; cook just until shrimp turn pink and begin to curl.Mix in turmeric, salt, and pepper. Mix in tomato paste and water. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 hour. Add more water if necessary to prevent sticking.Serve.
