Sour Cream Raisin Pie III recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 prepared 8 inch pastry shell
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup raisins

    Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, beat eggs lightly.
  • Stir in sugar, salt, and spices.
  • Stir in sour cream and raisins.
  • Pour filling into pastry shell.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center comes out dry.
  • Serve warm.
