Tahini-Battered Tofu recipe


    4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons tahini
  • 1/3 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons egg white
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (16 ounce) package firm tofu, cubed

    Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Spray a shallow baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Mix together the tahini, wheat flour, garlic, egg white, soy sauce, and water in a large bowl.
  • Toss in the tofu, and mix so the tofu is coated.
  • Arrange tofu in prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in preheated oven.
