Tanya's Ginger Punch recipe


    10 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 (1 inch) pieces crystallized ginger
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  •  
  • 3 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 liter lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

    Instructions:

  • In a sauce pan, combine water, sugar, crystallized ginger and cinnamon sticks.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  • Pour syrup into a pitcher.
  • Add orange, pineapple and lemon juice.
  • Chill in refrigerator.
  • When ready to serve, pour into a punch bowl and slowly add the lemon-lime soda.
