Thermos Bottle Stew recipe |

Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef1 cup chopped onion2 stalks celery, finely chopped1 (2 pound) package frozen mixed vegetables1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup1 tablespoon dried basil1 tablespoon dried parsley1 teaspoon dried oregano1 bay leaf salt and pepper to taste1 (16 ounce) can crushed tomatoes1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce9 3/4 cups water
Instructions:
Using a large stock pot, brown your meat (breaking into small pieces as it cooks).Once meat is browned, add onions and celery, sauteing until soft.Add frozen vegetables, tomato soup, basil, parsley, oregano, bay leaves, salt and pepper, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce and water. Simmer for one hour and then serve.Remove bay leaves before serving.
