Tina's Pumpkin Spice Bars recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  •  
  • 1 (16 ounce) container cream cheese frosting
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

    Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Grease and flour the bottom and sides of a 10x15 inch jelly roll panIn a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin; beat until smooth.
  • Stir in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, salt and cloves.
  • Spread batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool completely.
  • Frost with cream cheese frosting and sprinkle top with nuts.
  • Cut in to 2 inch by 1 1/2 inch bars.
  • Store in refrigerator.
