Ingredients:
2 (6 ounce) cans tuna packed in water, drained3 tablespoons mayonnaise, or to taste1 teaspoon celery salt1 teaspoon onion powder1 teaspoon garlic powder1/3 cup chopped celery1/3 cup chopped onion1/4 cup chopped yellow bell pepper2 tablespoons butter3 English muffins, split6 slices American cheese6 slices fresh tomato
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees F (95 degrees C).Flake the tuna into a medium bowl.Mix in the mayonnaise, celery salt, onion powder, and garlic powder.Stir in celery, onion, and yellow bell pepper.Butter English muffin halves, place them on a baking sheet, and bake 3 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly browned.Remove from oven.Spoon tuna mixture onto each muffin half, and top each with a slice of cheese.Return to the oven, and continue baking until the cheese has melted, about 8 minutes.Remove, and top each with a tomato slice to serve.
