Ingredients:
3/4 cup white sugar1/4 cup all-purpose flour1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 cup milk3 eggs1 1/4 cups dark corn syrup6 tablespoons butter3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract1 cup walnuts1 (9 inch) pie shell
Instructions:
Scatter nuts over bottom of unbaked pie shell.In a large bowl, stir together sugar, flour, and salt. Stir in milk until smooth. Add eggs, corn syrup, butter or margarine and vanilla. Beat until thoroughly blended. Pour filling carefully over nuts; make sure the nuts are still spread out evenly over the crust bottom.Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour. Cool.
