Ingredients:
1 (10 inch) unbaked pie crust2 tablespoons butter, melted2/3 cup bacon bits4 cups diced zucchini4 eggs1/2 cup heavy cream1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram1 teaspoon onion salt1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).Brush crust with melted butter.Sprinkle bacon bits inside crust.Place zucchini, eggs and cream in a blender; puree until smooth.Pour zucchini mixture into a bowl and stir in marjoram, onion salt and cayenne.Fold cheese and pour mixture into pie crust.Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.Reduce heat to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) and bake for an additional 45 minutes, or until set.
